Good Hair

Christina shimmers in 1999. Her haircut is shorter and whispy, just grazing her shoulders with light, long layers. To get your hair this shiny, try a moisturizing hair serum. Apply it when your hair is wet, blow-dry it straight, and then rub some more over your ends for added shine. (Don't put it on your roots, it will look icky and greasy!)

Britney's hair is always sleek, smooth and sexy, especially when she goes for her pin-straight styles like these. Get the look by using a deep conditioner like Pantene Pro-V Essentials at least 3 times a week. Make sure to leave it in for 10 minutes! Also, don't blow dry your hair every day if you can help it--it strips hair and dries it out, causing breakage.

Britney looks good with her natural waves, too. If you're blessed with wavy hair like me, just wash and go sometimes, for a soft, romantic look. Or you can experiment with products to try different textures. If you've got straight hair, you can either scrunch dry with curling cream, or use a large-barrel curling iron on sections of dry hair to get the look for yourself.

You can try a new, funky look with your hair just like Christina did in the above picture from a new photoshoot. Christina's look is very dramatic, but you can put your own spin on it and make it more flirty and trendy. Take a piece of thin ribbon in a color of your choice (try contrasting shades of your hair--blondes choose dark hues, brunettes opt for brighter, lighter colors--or match it to your outfit!) and tie it to a section of hair at the top of your head. Twist the ribbon around your hair in an uneven-on-purpose pattern, and secure at the ends. Repeat until you reach your desired effect. Voila--instant extensions!
