The Pussycat Story
Top-notch celebrity choreographer Robin Antin created The Pussycat Dolls in 1995 at Johnny Depp's Viper Room. He loved the act, and helped the Dolls gain more success as a cabaret show. Now everyone in Tinseltown is buzzing with excitement about the elusive and supersexed song-and-dance show. Their fame is exclusive and elite, performing for celebrities such as Courtney Love and Playboy founder Hugh Hefner. All the Dolls are professionally trained dancers, and the best part is the celebrity guest hosts and performers, including Christina Applegate, Charlize Theron, Brittany Murphy and Carmen Electra.
Above: Christina first sees the show at the Viper Room. Bunches of celeb guests were there. Xtina immediately fell in love with the costumes and the act and wanted to get into it. Luckily, The Pussycats are managed by Christina's management, Azoff, so it wasn't too difficult. Christina's October 2002 MTV Diary had a special 20-minute piece on Christina with The Pussycat Dolls. Christina loved: "...being feminine and having the chance to explore being a girl, and to have a whip and to just be unafraid."
Paris Hilton is the latest to hop on the bandwagon. She wore the same bra as Christina Aguilera, with very similar panties and stewardess style cap. Those red lips!
