I looked at your picture and might i add your really pretty! I was gonna ask you what you look like not beacuse i'm a stalker just you seemed to be into the kind of stuff i am! You know latest make up products,Britney and Christina, and clothes, and fitness! I love to keep up to date on this kinda stuff! Anyways i do have a point here! Your really beautiful!  I have a question to ask you(hope you don't mind!) i really wanna a natural/pink colour on my lips and i have tried bout 6 lip products and i do like them but they don't seem to have enough colour but they smell really nice and give a good shine but then i try other pinky colours and they seem to pink or pale pink! I have one that i really like but it kinda smells weird! I do have in mind about this other natural/pink colour and it pretty much looks the same colour as i have now(the one i like) but its supposse to smell like vinalla! So i thought i would give it a try! Sorry back to my question do you know of any lip products that are natural/pink that you have tried and don't smell werid? I have been searching for it to be in a tube not a jar or lipstick   and somthin not sticky!? Hope you can help! Your site is awesome i luv it!! Thanx for answering my questions before! Hope to hear from ya!

Dear Alicia,
Trust me, I know of the quest for the perfect lip product, and it's not easy to find that perfect shade. The only way to do it is via trial and error. This past August, I came across the lipgloss of my dreams. It's in the product reviews section--Neutrogena MoistureShine Gloss in Whisper. It is a gorgeous, pale, shiny nude color. It isn't too brown, or too white (makes you look ghostlike)--it's just right, with a hint of pink. And unlike most lip glosses, it isn't sticky, and it lasts a fairly long time. I'm totally impressed--you should definitely give it a try. Let me know how it works out!

Love,
Blair

Ashleigh asks:
Help me Blair!!! i need a quick make up routine it
usually takes me 17 minutes to get ready and its starting to get to be a pain! can you give me some tips please on how i can do my make up in less time?

*~*~*~*~*~*
Ashleigh, here's how I cut down my makeup routine! I get up really late, so I've just learned how to do everything faster. I get up at 6:00 and leave the house at 6:35. That includes washing face, wetting and blow-drying my locks, brushing teeth, makeup and clothes...as well as my stuff downstairs!

So I'll share my makeup routine...which I timed this morning at 7 minutes.

1) I put on my zit cream first ;)

2) While I'm waiting for it to dry, I do my mascara. This takes a full minute because I use special feathery strokes to get really full, pretty lashes. Use a good thick mascara, like Max Factor 2000 Calorie.

3) Then I do my triple-layering shadow technique. I wet my brush and swipe matte brown shadow in the creases and beneath my eyes, and shimmery beige shadow on my lids. The result makes me look more "finished" and it totally enhances your eyes. The color looks good on everyone, and you can wear it for school or wherever.

4) For foundation, I wet my fingers, then dunk into my foundation bottle. I rub a light, even layer all over my face, blending into the jawline.

5) For a touch of color, I add some Maybelline Cool Effect Blush...

6) And apply some pale pink gloss as I step out the door.

Hey Blair,
My name is Alicia. First of all I wanna say I tried Max Factor 2000
Calorie Mascarra and it is so awesome makes my lashes really stand out. Thank you! Do u know they now have it in waterproof!? Anyways I have really
big eyes without make up but when I put eyeshadow and eyeliner on it makes my eyes small!! I have blonde hair and i have a little bit of tan!
I read ever where if u have small eyes put on light eyeshadow but when I try that it doesn't give me enough difinition!! Please help me!! To sum it all up how can i make my eyes stand out but with light colours and not to un natural makeupy look!!!
Always

Dear Alicia:
Everyday makeup should be simple, and should define your eyes, not make them look freakish and absurd. My best advice for eyeliner is--skip it and replace it with wet powder eyeshadow on a thin brush. The look is softer and more natural. Also, avoid harsh, thick black lines. Make sure you blend the edges if you use kohl pencil, and save liquid liner for night-time use.

Another aspect of natural, pretty eyes is the makeup colors you use. Always use black or brown mascara! Extreme lash colors just look supertacky for daywear. Also, use a neutral shadow color for your daily color--I like shades of brown. I use the darker colors for contour in the crease, and to line under my eyes, and I use a pale, shimmery beige for my eyelids and browbones. The look is instantly polished and defined, but not cakey or shockingly made up. Whatever you do, don't go for a dark smoky eye a la Christina if you want the "natural" look.

Glad to hear you like 2000 Calorie--will have to check out the waterproof kind for summer.
